Lathyrus Odoratus

Scarlet waxcap

The prolonged hot dry weather is playing havoc with the fungi. I've found comparatively few new ones emerging in the last few days and most of the older ones are shrivelling up. I was going to blip a grey spotted amanita but then I sawthe scarlet waxcap or scarlet hood. I thought they grew in rough grassland but this one, and a few more, were in quite dark woodland.
