Snake Crossing

When you see a snake crossing the road it certainly makes you stop in your tracks....especially in England. When we lived in Greece we used to get snakes coming onto the balcony!!! The first time we saw one we had just been shopping and our little dog was barking at a plant next to the door. When I looked there was a snake coiled up behind the plant. Mrs YR ran inside and left me locked out with the snake. I took a brush to it and it uncoiled to about 4 feet in length...luckily it slithered away and dropped off the balcony. Now this one here was not slithering anywhere so I took a wide berth.
