Anti-Social Networking?

I quite like Facebook. It's a useful tool and a good way to keep in touch with people if your paths don't cross all that frequently.

One thing I don't like about FB is the constant updates and unnecessary changes. Recently they brought in some weird thing where they put what they think is the most interesting/viewed/viewable/whatever update at the top and hide other stuff. All I want is a chronological update, with the things I've already chosen to subscribe to. Obviously way too simple for FB.

So I've binned it, and started using Tweetdeck instead. Tweetdeck appears to give me just what I want so far. Thanks for the tip Cyclops!

Does seem a bit top heavy to have to use one social media gadget to correct the one you actually want to see, to the way you want to see it. If it was that social, you'd get the choice wouldn't you?
