This evening's sunset

Wanted to take a photograph of the setting sun where it's poking out of the ground, you know the picture.

So got set up well in advance, although i think next time I'll head for one of the barrier islands to get the sun heading into the sea, rather than into the ground. However, the big water ways here give a great view of the sun going down.

One problem.

Despite a complete lack of cloud here, there were clouds on the horizon, so about 3 minutes before the sun set, it galloped into some low clouds a long way away and was never seen again

Doh. We'll have another try of this in a few days.
