Boo Boo

Having spent the best part of 3 weeks on the road travelling for work, on holiday and then working again I haven't seen much of my dog, Boots. She took a holiday with mum and dad whilst I was away. She loves it there but won't leave me when I get back. It seems she has learned the routine now and knows when I return it's usually to pick her up.

I take her most places with me and have to confess I do miss her on the occasions I have to leave her with friends or family. She has this look of abandonment that can make you feel incredibly guilty when she knows she's being left. How can a dog have such a variety of expressions?
