Well after my first proper trip outside the house yesterday it became apparent that I'm still not well. I was awake most of the night with terrible sinus pains and sore ears. I called my work to inform them I wouldn't be in today followed by calling the doctor for an appointment. Luckily I managed to get one for 9.50am where I was told my ear infection was worse (I didn't realise that was possible after 7 days of antibiotics!) and that I looked exhausted (thanks very much!). So that is me signed off work for another week. I can't help but feel guilty, but my boss was very nice about the whole situation.

So I got a new course of antibiotics. When reading the box I was a bit surprised to see " avoid exposing skin to direct sunlight or sun lamps". I personally thought that this was a bit strange, however it ruined my plan of getting some fresh air in the garden this afternoon.

So instead I made cards to celebrate the arrival of little Bethan. I also made one for Scott's sister Anne to give, so hopefully the recipients will like them.

This is a charm on a bracelet that I recently bought - it's very pretty!
