Hawarden Corn Mill

This mill finished work in 1940 and has had its innards strewn about. The wheel is still in situe and would make a patten for a new one if anyone had the time and money. There is a huge chimney, perhaps for ancillary steam power. It's in a lovely wood and you can walk through to the Old Warren. There's a good pub called the Spinning Wheel that does a good chicken curry.
The wood is good for quite a few fungi, especially the top part.
