First ever plaster

Kai had his first ever plaster-requiring injury today! Elbow met with Tarmac and though he got up and bravely brushed himself off, telling the girl who knocked him over 'I'm ok' in a wobbly voice, once he saw the blood it was all over!

A cleanup, a cuddle and an ice-cream later he was all fine and is now very proud of his first ever plaster.

(Except that he had another hissy fit when halfway through the ice lolly, the top f the stick appeared. "I don't like it!', he cried, and insisted take it out but let him keep the ice lolly!!)

However, since then, whenever I have asked him to do something, like put away a toy, he holds his arm and looks at me imploringly, as though I must have forgotten that his injury makes such labour impossible!!
