Cat on a Hot Trampoline

To be fair, it had probably cooled down by the time I took this but nevertheless this cat on next door's trampoline saved my day blip-wise. Just don't tell Basil - he's on a one dog mission to rid the world of all things feline. And guinea pigs. And Monty the Golden Retriever from down the road. I'd really love to get some chickens, and keep wondering about it...and then I remember Basil.

I had a lovely swim and catch-up with my friend Sarah last night, and a lovely walk and catch-up with my friend Selina this morning. Then I had a busy but good afternoon at work and tonight I'm putting my feet up.

I've finished Snowdrops and I really hope it wins the Booker Prize - I thought it was a perfect book and I just didn't want it to end. Now that it has though, I've decided to spend my September overtime payment on one of those new Kindles (the new, improved ereader out in a couple of weeks as opposed to the tablet thing they launched yesterday). I may also have to invest in a new laptop as mine is still dead as a parrot.

In other news, I had my flu jab at work today (it's a perk!).
