Another Parrot

Sorry about this being another parrot. It was a real nature day today. Being a bird (and nature) lover it was just the best day. We went for a 10 km bush walk and I spent the rest of the day taking pictures.

I saw about 7 different type of parrots (including the blipped one which was at the bird feeder), an osprey, black swan, ducks, cormorants, various wood pigeons, Australian magpies, a few kookaburras and lots of small birds I don't know. I also got a few shots of a long eared rabbit and just missed out on some close ups of a red-bellied black snake.

Wonderful day. I leave fairly early in the morning to catch a plane up north to catch up with my brother Tony and his family in Cairns.. I haven't seen them for a long time.
