Sun rising

Looked out the bedroom window this morning and the sky looked as if it was on fire. By the time I got dressed and grabbed my camera and Rona ( so that I don't get too many funny looks at that time of the morning) the sun had risen and I managed to get this shot.

Being a blipper does make people think you are a bit eccentric, I think. All times of day armed with a camera and willing to climb on to things , lie down or just stand and wait until you capture what you want. Rona is my wee lifesaver and I always pretend I am dogwalking rather than blipping. Is that a terrible admission to make? Do any other blippers do anything similar?
