well, here we are. bondi beach.

a quick 'well, here we are' snap. bondi beach. i like it.

i've heard mixed things about bondi - run down etc. but you know what, i really liked the feel of it. i can imagine us running down the street with our surfboards before work; jumping into the ocean; paddling around (and probably never catching a wave thanks to the million others in the water!) and then running back up the street to head off for a day's work. this is why we moved here!

fingers and toes are tightly crossed that we can find a place for us and the dog within walking distance of the surf.

took a wee tour of the other eastern suburbs today too - bronte, coogee, clovelly. i really do like it here. city by the sea. perfecto. i also love that soo many people are out and about doing exercise of one kind or other. i could definitely get used to this.

this shot looks across bondi beach this afternoon from the pool on the north side. there are swimming pools at each end of the bay. i look forward to using them when we find our dream beachside home ;)
