Wild thing in the garden

Today is my birthday and I had an absolutely awesome day. No work for me. I've decided never to work on a birthday again.
It's a day to celebrate not just with candles, a birthday hat (or 2 in my case!) and spending time with friends & family, but a day to celebrate our existence. A day to do the things that make us feel alive and that bring us pleasure & joy. So today I walked in the sun, spent time with my dogs, skated (of course), jumped around in the garden and went out for an exceptional meal with my lovely man.
Today was a here & now kind of day. Maybe everyday we should savor the good things in life not just on our birthdays. K
