Wonderful weather, wonderful weathervane.

What a stunning day and as my daughter was visiting we made the most of it. There are many lovely walks in my corner of North Yorkshire and today we chose another favourite. It begins in a lovely little village called Boltby and took us in a wide circle through fields and over streams against a backdrop of moors and rocky outcrops.
I remembered this weathervane from a previous visit and today it was beautifully set in the clear blue sky. I think it could be a bit of a theme as I know of one or two very attractive vanes around the area. I'll see how many I can 'collect'!
