Ikea trip gone horribly wrong!!!

WhiteBalance here...secretary to Dark as he is rather impaired tonight. Went to Ikea to buy some mosquito netting and found a great bargain on book shelves. Had to take them apart to get them onto the truck...guy working there just handed us the Hex wrench and basically said "have at it"....dark and I tipped the very heavy book case and I dropped my end...whoops! His finger was still under it...OMG! It split open like a crushed grape. Off to the first aid room...then sent to the Emergency room and now has a fracture on top of a rather large piece missing. If you dare...Here it is...in the flesh. For those who looked...it was worse in person. It is so gross. Bless him. He was a real trouper...now after 6 hours in the ER he's off to bed with pain pills and antibiotics. Hope I don't roll over on it. P.S. Ikea gave us the book case...$200...Dark said 'he'd rather have his finger' I on the other hand...love the free book case...lol
