Indian Summer
What fantastic weather in Glasgow today, 25C during the day and still 22.5C this evening whilst out for a walk with Charlie Mrs C and Holli, whilst Bruce tried a new training regime with the Scottish Judo development squad.
The term 'Indian Summer' refers to our North American cousins I think now called Native Americans. The term Indian Summer refers to the warm autumnal weather more commonly found in the US, the phrase was imported by the British not surprisingly in the 1800's
Lot's of countries have phrases meaning the same, my favourite is in China they call it "A tiger in Autumn", the tiger refers to the power and heat of a summers day - love it
Nothing to do with the Raj
Promise I'll blip Charlies new haircut at the weekend
