Blending in
The secret to good wildlife photography is to blend in to the background, so as not to disturb your subjects.
I took up the challenge of creating a self-portrait for today, which became little more than an excuse to break out a silly hat.
The benefit of using a zoom lens for this is that I couldn?t know how close I would be to the cows until I tried it, so I was able to pick the right focal length for the conditions with out missing the shot. Lightly cross processed with Nik Color Effex Pro software.
Nikon D300; Tamron 18-270mm @ 65mm; ISO 200; F/14; 1/100 second. VC off.
