It's autumn, though you wouldn't believe it here in New England. The colours should be peaking over the next week or so but they haven't even got going.
Still, there are reminders such as these wreaths placed upon doors, this one being made to look like a hat. The New Englanders seem to be enjoying the last burst of summer so who am I to complain about the lack of colours?

My cold has gone. It must have been hay fever - or 12 hour Man Flu. Not to be sniffed at.
