kissed by the sun...

...on a warm autumn day

i approached seeing the expected colors of fall:

deep reds...

yellows...

oranges...

barely whites...

then - underneath some scruffy old dried flowers - was this splash of unusual peachyness... its petals outlined with the faintest hint of blush red - making me think of an early morning sunrise where the sky is painted with hues of pink and orange and red all mixed together... as i carefully pulled the old away, the suns rays gently bathed the flower through the shadows - calling me...

i knew this would be the one - a special one not to be forgotten - unhidden - unveiled...
