Mews

Lots of people in London "have a little mews flat". I've never been in one, but I have to say it does sound, and look, like an excuse for a house above a garage so you can say you live in a posh part of the city.

Walking back to my hotel tonight, I spotted these lights in Atherstone Mews, off Gloucester Road. Quaint.
