Loch Sunart

We are very fortunate to be able to keep our boat on Loch Sunart - it is a magical place that I have loved since I was a child. I can still remember the first time I travelled along the road and how I was mesmerised by the beauty. It has the same effect on me today.

This photo is taken looking back up the loch as we motored back to Tobermory to collect an anchor. Glenborrodale Castle can be seen to the left of the photo.

The anchor had a very 'west coast' delivery. It was tranported from Ardfern to Salen (Mull) on the salesman's father-in-law's boat; and then taken by car to the Tobermory harbour master's front garden; and he kindly brought it down to the pontoon for us!
