Check mate!

This month my daughter got a set of tasks to complete for homework, one of which was to play a board game with a parent.

She chose chess. And so our first game is over. I won. Don't think of me as cruel, but rather that I played my part as a parent and taught her a crucial lesson - think ahead.

Of course I didn't realise she would be so upset at losing...
