Broadstairs, Sunday morning
Despite the fact that it was I who had the 'skinful' last night, Rosemary was the one who overslept this morning. I set the alarm for 8pm and had breakfast with Nora (who runs the guest house we were staying in). Leaving Rosemary to her slumber I went out to explore Broadstairs, which is remarkably beautiful (even with a hangover).
An added bonus was bumping into Annie Trappitt, an old friend from The Times, down on holiday.
The slightly 'John Hinde' effect here is not created with a filter, but by a thin film of salt that formed on my lens while I took pictures. It was really hard to remove and I had to clean me lens after every couple of shots from then on.
