The Town Hall

A busy day again today and a warm day too.

There is never enough hours in a day to everything I need to do. It was my 'late' night at school tonight and I didn't finish until 4.30pm!

Claire puts in the time waiting for me to finish by doing some homework in the library. I think it's great that she can get some of it done before we get home. However, there was some work she was unsure about and it took until 8pm tonight before homework was finished. That makes it a long day.

So,my blip is only a random photo of the town hall in Castle Cary that I took in passing on my way to pick a few groceries.

The style of the building seems to be typical of the market towns in Somerset and I think it looks quite pretty. Especially now as the hanging baskets are still in full bloom.

There are a few social events to be held in the town over the next few weeks, including a carnival and parade, a light festival and a barn dance. Being newcomers I think that this would be a good opportunity to mix and mingle.

I'd better make sure that a huge dollop of homework doesn't get in the way of our socialising.
