Tree or Something Else?

It may be a heatwave in the south of England but this part of the West of Scotland has been grey and windy all day. Nothing much to inspire on my early morning run although I decided to blip this small tree because of the unusual shapes of some of its branches. For some reason two of them are bent at right angles as if contorted by the prevailing wind. Not sure how this could have happened.

When I studied the picture at home I was underwhelmed by its quality but surprised at what else I could see from the outline the branches. What can you see?
