Brighten up the Day

For the first time since spring, I woke up and thought

'Nope, my alarm must be wrong. It's too damn dark out there to be time to get up.'

Yet, as always, the alarm was right and I was wrong. Although the weather was nice it has been a bit of a gloomy day. My new camera didn't arrive because I went a bit too mad with the internet shopping and the bank flagged it as a possible fraudulent transaction. Boo!

This is another part of the church over the road from me that I pass every day but today I paused to look and the flowers made me smile.

We may be getting close to winter and it may have been a horrible day at work but the flowers are still out and as colourful as they were in the summer. Which we didn't have.

The point is, they are pretty.
