Varnished

This is my buoyfriend. He lives a short walk from my house so I thought I'd pay him a visit, sit on the bench a while enjoying the drizzle heatwave (??!!) and try and get some shots of the abundant bird life that hangs around here.
But someone had varnished the bench. Bugger.
Plus I had to bid a hasty farewell - I'd drunk too many cups of tea before going out and....
anyway, this shot's a wrong'un, but it will have to do.
I really must thank you lovely lot for making yesterday's beach my highest rated so far, I nearly didn't post it because I thought that was a wrong'un too, in fact I'm still not convinced you didn't all have your beer goggles on :)
