Baby Dove

This little baby just left the nest for the first time. His home nest is just a few feet away from my studio window. I kept hearing this little cooooo-ing sound, so softly. I went outside and walked right past him. Then when I saw his location, I went back inside to my studio window and there he was. If the screen had been removed from my window, I could have reached out and touched him. He had no fear as he has seem me go back and fourth on the patio all of his little life. My best photo, this one, was taken out the window of my studio. He stayed there for 3 hours. He looked to be about 6 inches. Nature sure makes beautiful creatures.
