New Lens

Today, my 50mm lens arrived. I'm a a very happy bunny. These are my flatmates, minus 1. I'm just getting to grips with the new thing, so I'm not too pleased with all my results as yet.

After lectures (including a lab looking at coral deposits though a microscope, very interesting) and failing to find any of 3 books from the library, we all went over to Sophie's flat for Chickpea Curry. It was delicious! Then we played articulate, and discovered Maria's amazing ability to mime animals. Ever seen someone act a Sturgeon? It's impressive.

Found out that this shot got picked for Edinburgh Uni PhotoSoc's photo of the week :)

Tomorrow will be spend doing background reading for my courses.
