must try harder

Don't look back....

Difficult not to. Not that he would have turned into a pillar of salt, but our first time of leaving one of our offspring to fend for themselves was made worse by that last minute look back.

Instead, we focused on the grounds of his new home, how beautiful it was and how envious we were that we would not spend our afternoons wondering around them with Dylan in tow with us breaking the silence as we barked orders after him to leave the rabbits alone.

We wondered how much the students would appreciate the surroundings, whether they would stay sober long enough to even notice them? We somehow doubted it.

This is a beautiful rock garden along with Folly as we exited the West Gate/Entrance to the campus grounds. As we turned onto the main round out, we looked back under the pretence that we were checking out the rock garden to see how nice it was from a distance. We couldn't see Joe from there.

Right then, we went over a hump-back in the road and lost our stomachs. Pretty sure there was a hump in the road!
