Burst

This shot is a bit similar to another one I took of a sunset over the castle a few weeks ago, but the colours were so good and the shadows so strong I decided to go with it anyway.

It was a beautiful moment; the sun suddenly burst through the clouds, bathing the high street in warm golden light. Glad I had my ever-trusty iPhone on hand to capture the moment - a minute later and it had clouded over again. Guess that's what makes blipping so exciting - it really all is a matter of chance.
