Spider-boy

Jamie is learning about minibeasts at school this week, so I was a big brave girl and let him catch a spider and take it in for show and tell. (worth it for the teacher's face this morning "oooh Jamie, what have you brought for show and tell?" takes small Tupperware container off him sharp intake of breath, and voice an octave higher "oh lovely, a spider, how lovely!!!")

I had to be even braver when he brought it home and set it free - and then let it crawl all over his arms. Did very well and didn't shudder, scream or run away. This may come back to bite me when he decides to collect the little monsters....
