A song with your supper

I was down in Harrogate helping my daughter on her wedding stationery stand at the weekend.

We'd had a recommendation to eat at The Claret restaurant. The food was delightful as you can see (scallops, bacon and peas). Mid way through the evening, the owner's wife sat down at the piano and joined by her husband sang a song from Phantom of the Opera in beautiful trained voices. Now that's something I've never come across in Edinburgh!

If you do go to Harrogate, can heartily recommend this restaurant which is close to Betty's.
