Magic Pumpkins

I was treated to a sublime meal in this stunning restaurant when we were out with the BF's mates for a birthday.

I am not someone that does posh or classy, you know me a glass of Merlot and a bar of Lindt and that's usually my version of Michelin star ( or probably Michelin Man if I carry on such a healthy life style ) but this was a rare treat and was just wonderful.

The staff were superb, polite, professional, helpful. The decor was outstanding, mostly dark but illuminated with tropical fish tanks. The food was melt in your mouth divine.

This was one of the many courses we had, these were duck and beef parcels made to look like pumpkins.

It was food as an art and food as entertainment and it was a wonderful wonderful night and I managed to last the whole three hours without asking for ketchup or chips!!

Of course it wouldn't be a true Rach night if it wasn't finished off in style, so we said goodbye to the others after the meal ( " Byeeee.. It was really nishe meeting yooo, you are bloody lovely so you are, hic, hic " ) and then me and the man went drinking and dancing in yet another dirty rock bar. Nice that with our combined age of 83 we got told off for dancing to The Clash whilst daring to have bare feet....

That's show business

Actually it isn't is it. Must stop delusion that I am famous...

Hope you all had a good weekend

xx
