You know you're getting old when the highlight of a holiday is a tearoom. However, I urge you to eat cake at the Inshriach tearoom (just outside Aviemore), it's like an epiphany on a plate. And a few feet away you'll see red squirrels frolic on the branches. All very middle-aged and cosy.
And then we were put to the sword by a golf course whilst getting slightly sunburnt. Who'd have thunk it.
