Went to the library to grab several books on a variety of topics that interest me -- some were things I've wanted to read more about for years but didn't have the time (due to school) until now. I'm excited to just learn on my own. :-)

Then I stopped at the park district this afternoon to inquire about summer jobs only to find out the building closed at 2pm, instead of 8pm as I thought I read in a brochure. The empty pool was nearby and I thought it might be good for a few pictures. This is the only diving board at the pool now -- there used to be three. The diving board that remains is the 'medium' height one. The 'low' and 'high' ones are gone and replaced with water slides. Slides are fun, but I miss the 'high' diving board. I miss diving in general, actually. Kind of wanted to be part of the diving team but wasn't/couldn't because of other commitments. Back dives. Front and back flips. Pike dives. Tuck dives. Just the basics is all I can do... I've always wished I could take more diving classes and learn more dives. Oh well, it's still fun :) Also -- back blip for yesterday.
