The morning after

From the hours of 12 am- 5 am- I lived.

Worked at the AFA football game, which I always have mixed emotions about working. During my 2 hour break Kenny and I met up, which I found totally ironic that he was working for a catering company at the same event I was working security. I laugh at the fact that I am being continually reminded how life can bring two strangers together in such intimate ways.

We met the sweetest elderly ladies who were getting down to some soul music, chicken wings, and beer, which they invited us to join. Keeping in spontaneous character, we enjoyed ourselves and chatted away with some new found friends. During our conversation, I was somehow convinced to let Kenny take me on a date.

As soon as the game finished, I raced up to FoCo to make my 8 pm shift at Pita Pit. I was only supposed to work a couple hours but ended up working till 4:45 in the morning.... I have never had to deal with so many drunk/high people in my entire life. My shift went by fast, and I think I will fit in with the crew just fine.

By the time I got home and took a shower it was 5:20 am and I had successfully stayed up for a grand total of 32 hours without a lick of sleep. Oh, the things a human body is capable of.
