Avenue El Sol, Cuzco (Peru 11/16)

Back to life, sort of, after our trek, back in the city of Cuzco, coming down figuratively and literally I suppose, though the elevation in Cuzco is still quite high, and if you're not properly acclimated, you can get severe altitude sickness. But I digress.

Avenue El Sol is a fairly well trafficked street. Along one stretch is a kind of arty median which separates the two sides of the road featuring different scenes cut from the iron. This is actually one of the more abstract patterns - other examples included a llama or a hummingbird picking at a flower.
