Uranus

This is the Planet Uranus, in Almondell Country Park, West Lothian.

The planets are depicted in various places around the Broxburn area as part of something called the Kirkhill Pillar project, which was probably one of those Milennium projects that everyone has forgotten about a decade on..

The Solar system is modelled to scale I believe with various sculptures depicting the planents. So far I've found Jupiter, which is on the Union Canal and Uranus, depicted here in its blue colour apparently. I believe The Sun is in Broxburn Primary School. Last time I tried to look at the website for the project it wasn't working...
