zombie granda

here's my dad on his birthday with his new ipad! how cool is that? he's been on it heaps today downloading news and banjo apps...no angry birds nonsense for this man...

the kids have been secretly filming their granda for a couple of months now and tonight was the premier of their film, 'my granda's a zombie'. at the start of the summer I challenged the kids to make a film - they weren't interested really, until we gave them the title of the film. watch it here - it's ace! well done to all the kids, especially louis and beth!

other news...our spanish girl paula flew home to her family today. we loved having her to stay - she was a really lovely girl. we're going to miss having her around. adios paula!
