Today we all celebrate

apples!

I love an apple festival. Todays was Stanmere Park with friends, stories beneath orchard trees, muddy organic veg and crystallized local honey, cupcakes, juice and even an apple identification stand, between the permaculture & pies. Apples bring people together!

Crisp autum gatherings like todays must date back far and all in the name of this rosy round fruit; I wonder if bananas get the same reception.
