The grand Finale

Today is the last day of La Mercè festival.
The festival finished with some light activities, but the grand finale was with two fireworks parties. The first one was the Correfocs; the other is the grand "piro-musical" show that I'm hearing in my house while wrinting this.

In the picture you can see the Correfocs (fire runs), a typical popular party in Cataluña, with dragons and demons dancing around a heavy fireworks charge in the middle of the streets, and everybody around them, protecting themselves with hoods in order to avoid to be burned with the fireworks.

It's a crazy party with thousands of people around and without any possibility to get out because everybody wants to be near the action, so everybody is pushing toward the fire. ¡It's a crazy party but I'm waiting for it all the year!
