Home grown
Used for a lovely lasagne at lunchtime. More onions and carrots to come and a few weeny runner beans. Have got hardy peas and purple sprouting broccoli to plant soon, my winter hanging basket to make up and strawberry cuttings to take. Butthat will wait for Tuesday or Wednesday.
Today consisted of an early start with craft going on at before 7am. Not so bad while the rugby world cup is on. Carys made a card and a picture to send to her friend that she made on holiday in Spain. Now we just have to compose the letter. With school, homework and Nanna's 70th we have been a bit slow in replying.
Then we went to Church followed by Nanna and Poppa coming for lunch and a play. That meant Mummy and Daddy managed to do some sorting in the house and we have discovered our utility again. The surfaces in there hadn't seen the light of day for some time!
Off for my second Gary Barlow fix of the weekend (with my ironing). Never was an X-factor fan before but am now. How sad can I get?
