Flowers

Last week a wise woman pointed out the advantages of flowering plants over bunches of cut flowers for longevity and economy so I was delighted today when Carlos bought me 2 lovely plants at the garden centre. I got this beautiful cyclamen and a pretty begonia too.

We had such a relaxing day, it was nice to get out for a wee while before the weather set in, it was so bad for a spell that you couldn't see the other side and the ships were sounding their foghorns.

It has cleared up now and there is quite a nice sunset but Carlos and I are on the sofa enjoying a blether and a wee glass of wine before dinner so enjoy the flowers I can't be bothered to get up to snap the sunset.
