Cardiff Cheese Festival

Today, me, hubby and youngest daughter decided to pay a visit to the Cardiff Cheese Festival at Cardiff Castle. Although it was a bit pricey to get in, it was well worth the visit despite the rugby- like scrums at all the cheese counters!!! Lots of people trying samples of all the different cheeses on display, aswell as ciders, wines and varying delicious delights.
We bought a yummy Cenarth cheese and Gwynt y Ddraig's new cider "Happy Daze" which is very nice indeed!
The atmosphere in the grounds of the castle was great, lots of people picnicing, enjoying the music from various live bands and all within the stunning setting of Cardiff Castle.
After our cheesy visit, me and hubby went off on a 13 mile cycle ride from Sophia Gardens over to Penarth, around Cardiff Bay and back, all along the Taff Trail. Lots of great activities going on down the Bay, from sailing to speedboating, white water rafting to people just strolling or like us, cycling.
As usual had my camera with me so snapped lots of pics which are here on Flickr
