Get rid of it!

Edgar plays the ball off the deck within milliseconds of getting munched. The first match of the season is allways a bit of a test. As Colts the age band is now two years wide so there is a big strength gradient within the squads and this is a young team.

We lost but not by much and it was the last 15 mins. when it all went pear shaped. Too many sherberts and lemonades over summer methinks.

It wa a good natured match and no serious injuries, so that was good.

As always there were some parents (on our side) who were complaining about the ref. But I don't see them doing their exams and donning the uniform! Put up or shut up I say.

Oh well it was always thus.
