Spent most of the day: catching up with students on forum, catching up with colleague in the Highlands (by skype), with my daughter (by skype), with Mother (by phone), with a friend (by text), painting top coat on book shelves. Went blip-seeking towards the Dalmeny estate, and about a hundred motorbikes were there on the front for me to inspect. Not sure what you'd call such a gathering - almost a flash mob, but most of the riders were too mature to really fit into that kind of description. Lots of expensive sports bikes with BIG FAT BACK TYRES, that only those with a good income can afford to buy and insure.
