Canoeing down the Esk

Got a phone call yesterday - a mate has bought a canoe and suggested we try it out so down the river Esk we went with respective eldest sons. What a hoot! Incredible fun and totally relaxing and somehow we managed to remain dryish. And beautiful weather to boot. Picnic on the banks then back in the canoe. Magical day out. Thanks C for the invite :)
