Old & new

My ugg boots have been steadily falling apart over the course of the past 16 or so years!!

They needed to be replaced or re-soled.

They're like old friends. Do you replace old friends just bcause they're (or you're?!) getting a little dog-eared and worn out? I don't think so!

They got re-soled. It cost me about 1/3 of what it would have cost to buy new ones!

Should last me another 16 years now I hope!!!!

This pic reflects that philosophy I think - bright sparkling new modern windows reflecting old, in-need-of-a-paint-job-but-still-got-lots-of-character building.

I'd choose the old over the new any day!!
