Unscheduled Stop

Traprain Law from Biel. I don't often stop at this point because it's half way down the descent from Pitcox and I'm having far too good a time to pull on the brakes. But it's a great view so just this once...

Right after this, I went to Dunbar for a pint and a read of the paper. I hopped up onto the pavement - and landed on my knee. The forks had broken. My lovely Pace RC31 carbon and titanium forks. So, I lay on the ground for a while before hobbling off to the pub.

Later, I went to another pub to meet a pal and we drank far too much beer. So, I didn't post this blip because I was tired and emotional. Ahem.

Now for a very gentle Sunday...
